Lyla’s Texture Book

On Pinterest I saw a texture “book” for babies – but it wasn’t really a book, it was squares of different textured fabrics with a ring holding it together in one corner. I liked the idea but wanted to make it into a book for my 1 year old granddaughter.  I have not sewn in years, and don’t know how to use my sewing machine very well but I had this idea of what I wanted to do.  A friend from church, Marysue, helped me solidify my idea and helped me sew the book. It came out exactly as I had pictured it! I can’t wait to give it to my granddaughter in less that two weeks.  I hope she likes it as much as I do.  And now I know how to make it so i will be able to make it for grandchild #3 due Oct 8th.
